Reading the Scriptures is important, it is the Word of God written for us to know how to be saved, and how to live righty in obedience to God:

Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

(2 Timothy 3:12-17)

Here at Mark and Avoid, we strongly encourage everyone to have a copy/copies of Scripture in their own language (and that such is an accurate/reliable translation). Additionally, it can be very helpful having what is known as a “Study Bible”, which has notes and other helpful things in addition to the text of Scripture, which is drafted by helpful theologians.

If you are needing additional help obtaining a copy of Scripture or have questions about a certain translation of Scripture, please feel free to contact us or email us at: info@markandavoid.org
